Introduction: Temperature controller is one of the basic applications in our daily life and his has been evolving around time. This document describes Temperature controller application using BLE which creates a IOT node on the cloud which can be monitored and controlled by anybody and from anywhere in the world.

Application: With the evolution of IOT and cloud computing it has become very handy for anybody to access any device anywhere with topmost security and at most ease. The Block diagram above represents a temperature controller application where we have a Bluetooth low energy module sensing the temperature and controlling a relay to achieve the right temperature. This whole control unit is connected to a home automation system using BLE which a local network these days in home. The Home Automation gateway is a advanced data collecting centre, which collects data from such multiple BLE nodes and Wi-Fi nodes and extends that data to a cloud computing server which then generates the statistics and decides the logics for the whole system. The Temp controller APP on a end users smart phone can be a handy human interface to the whole system where he creates an algorithm for the whole system which will control the temperature of the home. A simple temperature controller with IOT in mind becomes a very luxuries and handy tool in the world of IOT.
